Tirzepatide is the active ingredient in Mounjaro, a weekly injectable GLP-1 medication. How It Works
Tirzepatide attaches to two receptors (GLP-1 and GIP), unlike previous GLP-1 analogs which only attach to one, resulting in increased overall weight loss (around 20%).
